New York Times Siena College Polls Show Outlier Results

Biden and Trump Face Off in First Presidential Debate of 2024

New York Times-Siena College Polls Show Outlier Results

Wednesday's Poll Shows Trump With Favorable Opinion

In a surprising twist, the latest New York Times-Siena College poll reveals an outlier result. The poll, conducted on Wednesday, shows former President Donald Trump with a favorable opinion among Americans. This is in contrast to other recent polls, which have consistently shown President Joe Biden with a higher favorable rating.

The poll, which surveyed 849 registered voters, found that 42% of Americans have a favorable opinion of Trump, while 53% have an unfavorable opinion. Biden, on the other hand, has a 45% favorable rating and a 50% unfavorable rating.

The poll also found that Trump is leading Biden in a hypothetical 2024 rematch. Trump leads Biden by 4 points, 49% to 45%. This is a significant change from the same poll conducted in October 2021, which showed Biden leading Trump by 10 points.

The results of the New York Times-Siena College poll are sure to raise eyebrows and spark debate. It remains to be seen whether this is an outlier result or a sign of a shift in the political landscape.
